ALL IS CONNECTED is a school project about making a book with my 100 graphic design related references.

To begin with, I collected all these 100 references and managed to classify them into seven categories, in which each of them represented one direction of design styles or characters. What I found interesting about was that there always appeared some certain connections among different directions, i.e. one particular reference might have contained two or more characters. For instance, there was one set of animations that ESPN designed for NBA where it demonstrated characteristics in both sports and geometric design. So this ESPN reference just perfectly fit two categories.

Similar circumstances happened among the other 99 references. As such, a map of all my 100 references generated accordingly. Pretty much like the Metro map, I eventually came up with seven “lines” connecting all these different “stations”. When living in a city, we can get to wherever we want by Metro. So does my system!
